DEUX HOMMES -NUOVA MOVIDA

Dear iDEALS, I was wondering lately what my friends/designers Deux Hommes were up to. Although I tried to call , it was only today that we finally managed to speak. I was invited over for coffee and we talked about various fashionably iDEAL matters. One of them was Dimitris Aleksakis’ latest trip to MADRID. He supplied me with some amazing images plus a little handwritten note for all of you, my viewers:

“Filep, during the daytime, Madrid looks like an enormous gallery featuring some of the most beautifully dressed women in the History of Art. The the dark but not Gothic Spanish baroque, disguised in the spiritual Counter Reformation stress, is still alive. In the night, I could still hear the echoes of MOVIDA (1980-90) even though the movement is something the Spanish people pretend of it’s never existenz.

1 - I love Deux Hommes. Great images , how did they get away with a camera in the Prada?
