HELLENIC FASHION DESIGNERS: KONSTANTINOS
dEAR iDEALS, starting today , Un nouVeau iDEAL will be presenting the all the designers who have presented their collections for Spring-Summer 2007 during the fourth Hellenic Fashion week in October 2006. Today I am presenting Konstantinos.
In the designer's own words: " This collection is a demonstration of pleating and folding. Focus on invert folds and accentuate shapes. Expand the volumes and update the ballon’s effect in supple oversized proportions.Freed from the romantic and childlike spirit, the puff sleeve becomes more radical.
«Giand-sized» and loose fitting, it provides the garment with an architectural and inflated shape. Like a breath of air in suspension, it gives the cut new importance.Focus on generous shapes and user comfort in black-white and silver."
