We cordially invite you to the White Cubicle Toilet Gallery. Especially
for the occasion of the DIK Fagazine exhibition, artist and founder of
DIK, Karol Radziszewski, will reconstruct his mural painting from ‘Fags'
- the first ever openly gay exhibition in Poland, presented by him in
2005. The show in the George and Dragon toilet will also feature a
unique toilet seat in the shape of the iconic DIK Fagazine logo and will
have the latest issue of the magazine (ARTY FARTY) for your toilet
reading pleasure. Special series of graphics by Monika Zawadzka - art
director and designer of the magazine, created in limited number of
copies, will be available exclusively for guests of the evening.
With this exhibition, White Cubicle continues its tradition of giving visibility
and space to independent publications: Butt Magazine, PIX fanzine, Basso Magazin, Hate Magazine, Fur

located within the Ladies Toilet of the George and Dragon, and works
with no budget, staff or boundaries. White Cubicle has become one of the
East End's most exciting and ambitious exhibition spaces, presenting a
discerning programme of international manifestations as an antidote to
London's sometimes extremely commodified art scene. Past exhibitions
have included the work of Deborah Castillo, Gregorio Magnani, Butt
Magazine, Federico Herrero, Terence Koh, i-Cabin, Steven Gontarski,
Pixis Fanzine/PrincessJulia and Hanah, General Idea and avaf, Basso

Dear iDEALS, as the days were coming closer for the 2008 edition of FESTIVAL D'HYERES, I was trying to find a way to get myself there. Practically it was impossible due to several reasons: money, a lot of ideas that had to be put on paper for my ss 2009 collection, the last details for the 4rth issue of ISTEROGAFO- FASHION... Thank God, I have friends who are with me giving me all their support. The following report wouldn't be possible if the one and only Rene Habermacher wasn't at Hyeres. For the past two days he has been texting me messages such as: " Next year you gonna come!! No excuse!!! Oh my God it's sooo much fun" or "Ohhh Hyeres is so you, I love it and you gonna love me for the pictures I take for you"..A big THANK YOU to Rene. My kisses to you my Renito and also Diane, Antoine, Sandra Backlund and Hannelore..I miss you all.
